The most iconic house on British television has found a new address—and it’s a big one. VERSA Studios has officially expanded its West London footprint by 200,000 square feet to welcome ITV’s Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother, with the nightly Late & Live show set to tape next door at VERSA’s original Ealing location. The new space is fiber-linked for seamless live broadcast and designed specifically for the demands of large-scale, high-visibility productions.
This expansion marks “part one” of VERSA’s broader London growth strategy and brings the company’s total UK footprint to over 600,000 square feet, spanning Ealing, Manchester, and Leeds. It’s another bold move from a studio operator that’s been quietly redefining production infrastructure in the UK—servicing everything from Peaky Blinders and Bodies to Saturday Night Takeaway and high-gloss brand campaigns from the likes of Nike, Gucci, and Samsung.
“We’re not just adding square footage—we’re creating long-term production homes,” said Charlie Ingall, Executive Director at VERSA Studios. “This kind of investment allows us to support both the creative and commercial goals of our clients, whether it’s live reality TV or a prestige scripted series.”
For ITV and Big Brother’s producers at Initial, the decision to relocate to VERSA came down to capability and flexibility. “The most iconic house on television has found a new home, and we couldn’t be more delighted,” said Jody Collins, Director of Production at Initial. “The needs of the production are substantial and VERSA is uniquely equipped to meet these demands.”
Ealing Council Leader Peter Mason celebrated the move, calling it a win for local job creation and the borough’s ongoing commitment to creative industries. “Ealing has nine times more creative manufacturing spaces than the London average,” said Mason. “VERSA’s expansion reinforces our ambition to drive economic growth through film and TV production.”
And the strategy seems to be paying off. With a slate of high-profile projects across unscripted and drama, and state-of-the-art studio galleries powering its UK network, VERSA is increasingly the studio brand to watch—quietly shaping the future of production from the inside out.
As the UK continues to position itself as a global hub for content creation, VERSA’s growth offers a clear signal: big things are still being built.
