StageRunner and TheGreenShot Partner to Deliver Automated Carbon Tracking for Soundstages
StageRunner, the world’s largest soundstage marketplace and media platform, has announced a strategic partnership with TheGreenShot Group to tackle one of the most urgent challenges in film and television production: sustainability reporting.
The collaboration will integrate TheGreenShot’s award-winning GreenPro platform directly into StageRunner’s ecosystem, giving soundstage owners a powerful new product offering for their production tenants. By automating the tracking and reporting of carbon, energy, and resource use on productions, the partnership positions StageRunner’s soundstage clients with a competitive edge as studios ramp up sustainability demands across all business verticals.
Studios now require detailed energy and resource reporting for every production. But production teams often lack the training, time, or infrastructure to gather and compile that data. GreenPro solves this problem by using enterprise-grade OCR and automation technology, trained specifically on entertainment invoices, to aggregate massive data flows and convert them into precise carbon reports. The group has already supported 220+ productions, served 20,000+ users and won 13 international awards.
“The volume of data in productions makes manual tracking costly in both time and money,” said Max Hermans, founder of TheGreenShot. “That burden only multiplies when companies run several productions at once. Our system was built to take that weight off production teams while giving studios exactly the insights they need.”
For StageRunner, the integration is as much about strategy as it is about sustainability. “This partnership gives our soundstage clients a critical new service to offer their tenants — automated, studio-ready sustainability tracking,” said Jason Fisher, founder and CEO of StageRunner. “Studios and Producers are looking for partners who can meet these requirements easily and reliably. By bringing GreenPro into our marketplace, we’re helping soundstages future-proof their business while freeing production teams from a task they’re neither trained nor resourced to handle.”
StageRunner, which now reaches more than one million people each month and counts over 200,000 social followers, has established itself as the central hub for soundstage operators and the global production community. By adding TheGreenShot’s carbon reporting system to its offerings, the platform expands beyond marketing and bookings into compliance and operational value — a shift that could help define the next phase of soundstage competitiveness.
TheGreenShot operates offices across North America and Europe, partnering with entertainment studios, luxury brands, and corporate clients to deliver automated reporting that meets fast-rising compliance standards. With sustainability becoming an industry-wide priority, the StageRunner–TheGreenShot alliance aims to ensure that soundstages aren’t just keeping up — they’re setting the bar.
