Keystone Commercial LLC, a commercial real estate advisory and investment firm, has just released plans for Keystone Studios, a state-of-the-art, 500,000 square foot production powerhouse. Keystone Studios’ team of TV and film industry veterans has designed the upcoming full-service facility to cater to the region’s burgeoning entertainment sector, leveraging the advantages offered by New Jersey’s Film & Digital Media tax incentives.
Situated within five miles of Manhattan, Keystone Studios will offer access to the Tri-State area’s wealth of talent, technical expertise, and production resources. Its proximity to major airports, a plethora of amenities, and diverse shooting locations will help the production facility meet the dynamic needs of modern productions.
The facility is designed to support a wide array of projects, from film and scripted TV to reality shows, competitions, e-sports, extended reality (XR), live streaming, and commercial productions.
This versatility is augmented by New Jersey’s Film & Digital Media tax incentives, a program that provides significant financial benefits to eligible productions filming within the state. The incentive provides tax credits of up to 30-35% on qualified expenses, which can reduce production costs and encourage a wide range of film and television projects to choose New Jersey as their destination.
Ted Harbert, a veteran in the television industry who serves as an advisory board member at Keystone Studios, notes the increasing demand for premium stage space. “Keystone Studios will be an incredible, state-of-the-art facility that will offer everything a production needs from start to finish,” Harbert states. “The studio will be ready to cater to the highest standards of production excellence.”
“Keystone Studios is designed to inspire creativity, and will operate to empower production,” says Brian Edwards, Studio Executive at Keystone Studios. “We are committed to providing top-tier production capabilities and encouraging a new era of creative and visionary filmmaking.”
Abe Bose, the founder of Keystone Studios, has ambitious plans for the studio’s impact on the regional production landscape. “We believe that New Jersey has the potential to surpass New York as the premier destination for film and TV productions,” Bose states. “We maintain a comprehensive approach to serving the production community, and we hope to attract a diverse range of projects and solidify New Jersey’s status as a leader in the entertainment industry.”
Bose adds that Keystone Studios is intended to become a hub of innovation and creativity in the heart of New Jersey. With its advanced technological infrastructure, wide-ranging in-house services, and the financial advantages provided by New Jersey’s tax incentives, Keystone Studios can redefine what’s possible in film and TV production.
As the studio prepares to open its doors, it invites investors, production companies, filmmakers, and creatives from across the industry to explore the endless possibilities that await at Keystone Studios. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, Keystone Studios is set to become the go-to destination for the next generation of film and television content.
