Vancouver Film Studios is uniquely designed to meet the needs of even the most demanding film, television, and commercial projects and has hosted more than 100 productions, including award-winning Hollywood blockbusters. We are a full-service production facility conveniently located just 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver and 25 minutes from Vancouver International Airport.
Vancouver Film Studios began in 1997 by the McLean Family and the McLean Group of Companies, when the family acquired Northstar Studios. After rebranding to Vancouver Film Studios in 1999, we went on to build 13 state of the art sound stages alongside existing construction mills and office spaces to serve the growing needs of international and North American producers. In June 2023, Vancouver Film Studios was acquired by L.A. based Hackman Capital Partners
