Located in the Hudson Valley Region, just one hour north of Manhattan. Umbra features 4 acoustical stages; STAGE 1 offering over 16,000 sq. ft. of space, STAGE 2 which showcases the combination of a 10,000 sq. ft. soundstage along with 10,000 sq. ft. of additional production space, our newest STAGE 3 with 18,000 sq. ft of stage plus 11,000 sq. ft of production infrastructure and STAGE 4 featuring a 18,000 sq. ft drive-on stage. You will also find here, a 6,000 sq. ft. scenic/construction shop and a 1,500 sq. ft. cyclorama wall ideal for infinite white or green/blue screen, perfect for visual effects.

Need production office staging? No problem. Umbra Main Stage features 8,000 sq. ft. of office space, and 385 Broadway offers a 3 story office facility with ample private parking, making sure that any production that comes along has plenty room to run operations smoothly. Essentially we can cover every aspect of your production needs, complete with wardrobe rooms, green rooms, make-up areas, dressing rooms, several bathrooms (including showers), ample FREE parking and a variety of film friendly locations in surrounding Newburgh.

All of our stages have dedicated craft service or cafe areas ideal for large productions, allowing crew members to get through the line faster and ample sitting space for them to have a comfortable meal. Our studio facility is even equipped with a wide variety of lighting equipment to fulfill most film production requirements; a full equipment list is available upon request.
