A new powerhouse of British film, tv production & innovation 18 fully soundproofed, air-conditioned stages open now.
Shinfield has 18 newly built sound stages. All our stages are built with film and tv production needs in mind – large, flexible spaces with excellent height and lighting gantrys and all the equipment you would expect in newly created stages. Air conditioning and heating is the norm for us. Our stages are all close to new workshops too. We also have a hard standing backlot perfect for construction of exterior sets. This is circa 9 acres in size.
Backlot
Shinfield Studios has a hard standing backlot, circa 9 acres, available for all types of productions. Our backlot is situated behind our South Lot and the Oldhouse Farm Complex.
Offices
We offer a wide range of ‘On the Lot’ office suites for productions, that are either connected to stages/workshops or are stand alone. Within these buildings you will find open-plan areas as well as smaller private executive offices and meeting rooms. All have been newly built to a high specification and comply with sustainability and access requirements adopted across the studio site. The office suites are flexible, modern spaces suited to every type of production and department – art, costume, accounts, editorial, executive suites.
Features in all our offices include brand new, modern, air conditioning and heating units, new fully-fitted kitchens with integrated white goods, modern toilet facilities and disabled toilets on every floor, lift access and level access to all areas, new office furniture, phone and data points, and the highest security with secure swipe access entry points.
