Pixomondo LED Stage – Los Angeles  

Located on the historic Sony Pictures Studios lot, Pixomondo’s (PXO) Los Angeles LED Volume delivers cutting-edge virtual production capability in the heart of Hollywood. Designed for productions of all sizes, the stage supports complex Unreal Engine CG environments and 2D playback, making it ideal for both narrative and commercial work.

The stage features a 69 ft diameter, 23 ft tall, and 41 ft deep LED volume with 208 degrees of wraparound coverage. A static LED ceiling enhances lighting realism, while a 16 ft wide x 20 ft tall wild wall, mounted on a mobile gantry, allows for rapid repositioning and dynamic set extension.

At the core of this volume are 2,350 Sony Crystal LED B-Series panels, offering stunning contrast, low latency, and accurate color reproduction. OptiTrack motion capture ensures high-precision tracking for cameras and talent, enabling seamless interaction between physical and virtual elements.

Content delivery is driven by Unreal Engine 5.5+ and Pixera, providing a robust pipeline for real-time rendering and playback flexibility.
