FirstStage Studios

With 8.9 acres of stages, offices, workshops and hardstanding, FirstStage Studios is a new, leading production facility in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Stage Spaces

With up to 115,000 square-foot of shooting space, extensive offices, workshops, hard standing and on site parking for over 200 vehicles, FirstStage has all the facilities required for large-scale productions.

Workshop Spaces

We have four workshops totalling circa 35,000 ft2, including our mill (workshop 3), various workrooms, laundry and DIT room.

Workshop 4 is also available as a blacked out build space/stage.

Office Spaces

Our flexible office spaces can accommodate a range of departments. The office spaces are connected to a 10GBps fibre network backbone.

On-site services include:

• Design, installation and rental of rigging, specialising in work at height

• Gantry crane lifting plans and operation

• IT services including provision of high bandwidth external connectivity up to 3 GBps up and down, VLANs, fixed IP addresses, VPN connections and other bespoke configurations across our 10Gbps internal fibre backbone

• 24/7, 365 days a year site security  including flexible provision of additional on-site shifts as required.

• Provision of up to 3000A of three-phase power
