Celtic Studios

With nearly 150,000 square feet of design-built stage space, almost 100,000 square feet of gated office space, and an additional 50,000 square feet of covered support space, Celtic Studios has the size and services to meet the demands of most any production.

The Celtic Media Centre is the largest film and television studio in the state of Louisiana.  The property sits on 40 acres in the heart of Baton Rouge, offering abundant stage space and office space as well as a wide array of studio services rarely found outside of California or New York.

The Media Centre a.k.a. Celtic Studios is owned and operated by the Celtic Group, a network of companies dating back to Celtic Marine Corporation founded in 1985. Since its inception in 2008, the studio has opened its doors to multiple major motion pictures and television series including Fox’s Fantastic Four, MTV’s Scream, WGN’s Underground, Universal’s Oblivion, Summit’s Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Parts 1 & 2 and most recently Playtone’s Greyhound starring Tom Hanks.  The studio is also home to over two dozen tenants year-round from a variety of industries.  With 100,000 square feet of gated office space spread over five office buildings, Celtic continues to attract companies working long term or short term in the Baton Rouge area to our highly creative and secure work environment.

Louisiana is where it’s at.  Known as one of the top filming destinations in the world, our state offers a generous, newly revamped motion picture tax credit in addition to unique locations and an established crew base. The Celtic Media Centre, located in the heart of the Capital City, is the largest studio facility in the state and the perfect home base to take advantage of local incentives as well as the additional 5% credit for shooting outside New Orleans.
