Avalon Studios

Avalon Studios is a purpose built screen production facility that is located in a quiet, secure and private site in close proximity to Wellington, New Zealands capital city. Avalon Studios is seen as one of the premium and established studios in New Zealand.
Also near by are a number sporting grounds and amenities, great shops, restaurants and bars, and a good mix of fantastic accessible film locations of all types.
The complex has all under one roof – Studios, associated Support Facilities and Resources, and a number of industry related businesses all operating in a collaborative manner to support Film and TV producers and production companies working in the Studios.
Avalon Studios is well connected to the Screen Industry throughout Wellington and New Zealand. We are members of SPADA (the Screen Production & Development Association), Screen Guild (The Screen Industry Guild of Aotearoa New Zealand), Create Wellington (An Industry led collective of Wellington Screen Businesses). We are mutually aligned with Lane Street Studios and Stone Street Studios. Avalon Studios is also part of NZ Aotearoa Studio Group.
