Jason Fisher • Founder & CEO
Originally from Connecticut, Jason studied Architecture at Tulane University and moved to Los Angeles with dreams of being a Production Designer in Film and Television. He landed his first big break as a PA on the short-lived CBS Sitcom, "The George Wendt Show". Jason then worked in freelance production for much of the next decade as a Line Producer on network scripted comedies, talk shows and live-to-tape specials.
In 2006, Jason joined Disney as the Vice President of Production at ABC Studios, overseeing blockbuster shows "Lost", "Desperate Housewives" and "Grey's Anatomy".
He then went to AMC where he served as the the SVP and Head of Production, overseeing hit shows as "Mad Men", Breaking Bad" and "The Walking Dead". After AMC, he went to Paramount Television where he was the EVP and Head of Production.
Most recently, Jason was back at Disney where he was the VP and Head of Production at Disney+, helping to build the global streaming platform. Jason oversaw production for all scripted and unscripted programming for 16 internal studios, including Marvel, Pixar, Lucasfilm and FOX.
Stagerunner was founded in 2022 with a dual mission: to empower soundstage owners and to serve as a growing platform for the broader production community. Recognizing the need for a centralized hub connecting filmmakers with ideal production spaces, Jason created Stagerunner as a solution. Beyond being a marketplace, their goal is to build a thriving ecosystem that supports the entire film and television industry. By providing comprehensive marketing tools for soundstages, delivering up-to-date industry news, and fostering connections within the community, Stagerunner is becoming a vital resource for professionals worldwide.
