On Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 4 p.m., a ceremonial press conference will take place at Government Plaza, officially welcoming 50 Cent and his company, G-Unit Film & Television, to the heart of Louisiana.

Under the agreement, Shreveport and G-Unit will have a 30-year lease, with an option for a 15-year extension for the Millennium Studios facility. The lease includes furniture, fixtures and equipment located on studio grounds.
The yearly rent for this facility will be $2,400 a year. According to a city press release, the arrival of G-Unit Studios is expected to inject new energy into Shreveport’s film community, creating job opportunities and stimulating economic growth.
